Frogbert is a frog who lives on a lily pad at the pond. He holds a degree in Flyology from Pond University, where he graduated top of his log. He is notable for being one of the few frogs in the pond with visible eyebrows, which he considers an advantage.

Frogbert drives a light blue Fiat 500 and is active on the Bonk.io Community Discord. He communicates in short, lowercase sentences and maintains a deadpan demeanour in most situations.

early life

Frogbert and his best friend Gary were tadpoles in the same pond. They grew legs at approximately the same time, though Gary, being a snail, did not technically grow legs and simply watched. The pair have maintained a friendship of approximately twenty years, requiring very few words.

education

Frogbert attended Pond University, where he studied Flyology — the scientific study of flies, their behaviour, palatability, and capture methodology. He graduated top of his log and is considered a leading authority in the field. His final dissertation, "The Heron Problem: A Study in Optimal Stillness," received a mark of 24/25. The examiner deducted one mark for excessive self-citation. Frogbert maintains this was justified.

personal life

Frogbert lives on lily pad 3A at the pond. He is neighbours with Gary, who lives two lily pads away and has never once texted first. Frogbert has a documented crush on Sampson, a frog who lives on lily pad 4B (east pond), introduced via a painting provided by Discord user shtonk. They attended the same rave and were on opposite sides of the room at the same time voluntarily, which Frogbert considers significant.

Frogbert is currently engaged in a chess match against Gary. He plays white and opened with the London System followed by the Bongcloud (4.Kd2). The game is ongoing. Frogbert is confident he will win.
